Happy Thanksgiving to UCA members and friends,

"Thanksgiving Day is a holiday celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada. Thanksgiving is celebrated each year on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States. In Canada, Thanksgiving falls on the same day as Columbus Day in the United States. Because of the longstanding traditions of the holiday, the celebration often extends to the weekend that falls closest to the day it is celebrated".

I would like to say Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. It's great to know you and worked with you to development the Ulang County in South Sudan. Due to your unyieling contribution and supports to Ulang Community Associaton, we wish you all the best in Thanksgiving day. Brother and sisters, keep up the good work and your hardworking will be a blessing to people of South Sudan.

Furthomore, we always never forget to thanks our gueses and friends, for being so kind to us and stood with us during the fundraising parties and all these years. We love you, and we carry about you and your family. Today, is Thanksgiving Day! and we are full of joy to appreciated all the great things you have done to UCA and which you are continueing to do in the near future. UCA will stand with you and we will support you with anything we have. To make sure our friends and gueses are happy and enjoying the gift of peace. This is to remind community leaders and members that Ulang Community Association of the USA will have Fundraising party on Saturday 3/10/12 in Omaha, NE. You are all invited to support UCA to raise money for the development in Ulang County, Upper Nile State, South Sudan, keep that day open for this charitable event. UCA picked this date right after its last March Fund raising party and we are asking those who have not chosen their fund raising time to not coincide theirs with UCA's. All UCA of the USA proud members need to schedule their times off for the big day.

I am here to announce it that, the U.C.A Canada will have a party on January 21, 2012. Some one may ask himself/ herself why the U.C.A Canada booked another party again and it had a party just recently? The answer is, the U.C.A members in Canada ruled out that, they needed to have a big tooth and a big tail (development and money) for their Virgin City (Ulang), because the work of partnership between the U.C.A and the USAIDs will be resumed soon in Ulang’s eight payams, according to USAIDs former officer John Marks. Therefore, the U.C.A North America is very scrambled to have enough money to carry out its activities without obstacles.

To come back to U.C.A Canada’s new year party, I would like to encourage all of you (the U.C.A members) to participate fully in this event, whether you live in Canada or not, because your country, Ulang (The Paradise City) owing you something and you owed it a life, because you come from its black soil. Please your participation is highly needed and appreciated.

Second, for the coming up party, the U.C.A Canada leaders needed all the U.C.A members in Canada to wear yellow dresses as a symbolic or representation of their great ancestor, Bulbeck in their party, whether you are a woman or a man. If you do not have that yellow shirt yet, please try to think about it, before our next party that will be conducted soon.

The brain storm that was blowing across Ulang

I would like to bring this topic to your attention before Ulang citizens in canada and the U.S under the name of U.C.A North America discuss it at the year end on december 24, 2011. I Reath Puok Nyuon thought that it would be a rational idea if we will know the number of our heroes brothers who fell down and die for us because we can live in peace and keep our inheritant land (only war between Lou and Jikaany). As leader in Canada, I am very critical thinking and concerned if I can know how many my brothers who have perished as a price paid for our own land (Ulang). Therefore, I bring this topic to you and you will think about it. Remember these fallen brothers are our own private part and nothing to do with government of South Sudan, however, Ulang citizens have to decide what to do with these lion hearted men who gave their live because of our land.

Second, I need all Chielang under U.C.A name to have yellow shirt, black pan and U.C.A Canada nect tied for the next U.C.A Canada party which may be on 21, January 2012.

All these topics will be discussed on General meeting on December 24, 2011, and update is needed.
